AS OVATION is constantly striving to provide the best service, we
have been in negotiation with Verizon/MTN over the last few months, to
try and see how we could migrate our users to their service, without
increasing any costs or causing disruptions to our users. Due to the
volume of subscribers we have your pricing will not be affected .
Some basic comparisons between the 2 services show latency down by 100ms
to an international server, and dramatic speed increases during office
hours. So overall, a much better experience for all users.
The circuits and planning the migration have been tested, and the users
should not need to make any changes to account usernames or passwords.
The only change will be that they can no longer use smtp.saix.net.
Please change your SMTP servers from smtp.saix.net to smtp.dsl.co.za
before 15 May 2009.
Outgoing Mail Server Details:

The migration will begin on 15 May 2009, and should be complete by 31
